Course Curriculum :
The program is self-paced and has been designed to accommodate any schedule. The curriculum is broken into four sections and is a total of 30 hours. Each class is about 60 to 90 minutes long.
Part one – BE YOURSELF HOMEMAKING STRATEGIES FOUNDATION
Learn the methodology behind my professional organizing and time management strategies – 10 classes
Part two – GETTING UNSTUCK COACHING
Learn strategies for helping clients with obstacles (small living space, busy schedule, bed rest, newborn, ADHD, messy family members, limiting beliefs, etc.) – 5 classes
Part three – ROOM BY ROOM RESIDENTIAL ORGANIZATION
Take your knowledge to the next level when we apply the foundational strategies to each room in the home – 12 classes
Part four – PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER TRAINING
Get a look behind the scenes at numerous trade secrets and learn the ins and outs of using your newfound skills as a successful professional organizer – 4 classes
Are there other requirements?
To receive your certification as a Professional Organizer you must complete a final exam and engage in required field work (3 in-home appointments). In a follow-up phone appointment with me we’ll analyze your success and you’ll receive personalized instruction for the future of your career.
What is a class like?
Each class can be listened to either by telephone or by computer. The classes are clear and informative . In each class we will refer to the PO handbook (received via email) providing you with all the tools and models you will need on site as a Professional Organizer. You will also be able to hear the Q&A session at the end of each recorded session. You can contact me via phone or email with any of your own questions throughout the course.
