Once upon a time, a determined young girl got married and moved to Yerushalayim. She assumed the dishes would magically wash themselves, the laundry would self-sort, and the house would remain sparkling from Erev Shabbos to Erev Shabbos.
Pretty soon though, B”H, her family started to grow. Reality hit.
That stunned girl was…me! Thankfully, I’ve come a long way since. Over the years, living in tight quarters with limited help and a growing family forced me to develop a rock-solid, time-tested approach to home and time management.
In 2012, I published How Does SHE Manage? (Feldheim), a fresh, fun guide for homemakers who want to do it better. The response was overwhelming. “Finally, a book that doesn’t assume we’re all hyper-organized, uber-efficient superwomen!” grateful readers told me. What women found groundbreaking is that unlike classic home management approaches, mine offers tailor-made paths to success, encouraging you to work with your innate personality—not against it.
Since then, the book has grown into a movement. Through my teleconferences, presentations, and organizing appointments, I’ve helped thousands of women become happier, more effective homemakers. I especially enjoy working privately with women as a professional organizer and coach, creating functional, productive homes all around Israel.
I believe all women (yes, even you!) have the ability to manage their homes successfully.
Back by popular demand, in 2016 “How Does SHE Manage?” was reprinted and expanded. As a result of the winning “be-yourself” approach and the rapid growth of the professional organizing industry, I have trained women around the world to become Professional Organizers. I have created a team of caring, motivated professionals to help many more Jewish women achieve homemaking success.
In my organizing work, I have come across so many beautifully designed homes – using the latest technology and fashion, without taking into account the family’s needs and habits. Clients who invested so much money into their homes weren’t functioning well in them! I expanded my services to include interior design because so many organizing and time management challenges can actually be solved through correct design.
When I’m not assisting others, I’m busy tending to my own family of varied ages and stages, constantly updating my systems, strategies and designs.
